What made you serious about moving back to CA, and now purchasing a home in San Diego?

K&K: After we got engaged in February 2015, we decided we wanted to be closer to family. Katie found a job in Irvine, so we lived there for 2 years. Then, we moved to San Diego to be closer to future babysitters.

What attracted you to your new home and how did you know it was the right fit?

K&K: This house had all of the items on our list: location, 2-car garage, gas stove, layout (such as stairs and a bathroom on every level with private master), low maintenance yard, and enough upgrades that we didn’t have to renovate right away.

What did you learn and do you have any advice to pass along to other first-time CA buyers? Any notable differences in regards to purchasing in CA versus your previous state?

K&K: Don’t skim on the inspections. It will give you piece of mind, or if something is found, it's more negotiation power. For example, always get a mold and termite inspection.

How was your experience working with Michael Biondo?

K&K: Michael was a great asset to our team. He is professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He took the time to answer our 1000+ questions and made it easy and convenient for us to purchase a home. Even the seller’s real estate agent enjoyed working with Michael.

What DIY project or home improvement are you most excited to tackle in your new place?

L&K: The kitchen. We are going to improve the layout to add storage and create a place that we can enjoy for years to come.
